Shopify Integration

Sync your brand assets directly into Shopify

The BrandKity Shopify App bridges the gap between your brand portal and your storefront. Learn how to seamlessly import logos, visuals, and brand guidelines directly into your Shopify admin dashboard.

1. Connect Your Workspace

When you first install the BrandKity app in Shopify, you will be prompted to connect your BrandKity workspace via an API key.

  1. 1Log into your BrandKity dashboard.
  2. 2Navigate to Settings > API Keys.
  3. 3Generate a new live API key.
  4. 4Paste this key into the BrandKity Shopify App connection screen.

2. Browsing Brand Kits

Once connected, the main app dashboard will display all brand kits from your workspace as a grid of premium cards.

  1. 1You can view all kits (both Draft and Published).
  2. 2The dashboard shows kit names, taglines, block counts, and visual previews.
  3. 3Click on any kit to browse its specific brand assets.

3. Importing Assets to Shopify Files

The core feature of the app is seamless asset synchronization. You can pull logos, icons, and visuals directly into Shopify.

  1. 1In a kit detail page, locate an asset section like "Logos" or "Visuals".
  2. 2Check the boxes next to the assets you want to import, or click "Select All".
  3. 3Click "Import" to push them directly to your Shopify Files library via the GraphQL API.
  4. 4Look for the success toast notification at the bottom right indicating the files are ready in Shopify.

4. Referencing Colors & Typography

While media files are imported physically into Shopify storage, colors and typography are displayed beautifully for reference.

  1. 1Click on any color swatch to instantly copy its Hex code to your clipboard for use in the Shopify Theme Editor.
  2. 2View typography cards to see assigned Google Fonts, weights, and usage roles to maintain brand consistency across your storefront.
