WordPress Integration

Sync your brand assets directly into WordPress

The BrandKity WordPress Plugin bridges the gap between your brand portal and your website. Learn how to seamlessly import logos, visuals, and brand guidelines directly into your WordPress admin dashboard and Media Library.

When you first install the BrandKity plugin in WordPress, you will be prompted to connect your BrandKity workspace via an API key.

  2. 2Navigate to Settings > API Keys.
  3. 3Generate a new live API key.
  4. 4Navigate to the BrandKity settings page in your WordPress Admin.
  5. 5Paste the key to connect your account securely.

2. Browsing Brand Kits

Once connected, the main plugin dashboard will display all brand kits from your workspace as a grid of premium cards.

  1. 1You can view all kits associated with your workspace.
  2. 2The dashboard shows kit names, section counts, and visual previews.
  3. 3Click on any kit to browse its specific brand assets.

3. Importing Assets to the Media Library

The core feature of the plugin is seamless asset synchronization. You can pull logos, icons, videos, and visuals directly into the WordPress Media Library.

  1. 1In a kit detail page, locate an asset section like "Logos", "Icons" or "Visuals".
  2. 2Check the boxes next to the assets you want to import, or click "Select All".
  3. 3Click "Import" to push them directly to your WordPress Media Library via the native attachment APIs.
  4. 4Look for the success toast notification at the bottom right indicating the files are ready in WordPress.
  5. 5SVGs are automatically sanitized to prevent any security risks.

4. Referencing Colors & Typography

While media files are imported physically into WordPress storage, colors and typography are displayed beautifully for reference.

  1. 1Click on any color swatch to instantly copy its Hex code to your clipboard for use in WordPress themes or page builders.
  2. 2View typography cards to see assigned Google Fonts, weights, and usage roles to maintain brand consistency across your site.
